How Can Hypnotherapy Help You?
Hypnotherapy gets to the root cause of the problem, heals it and eradicates the issue quickly and permanently. It can be done in tandem with existing medical treatments or on its own, and in all, there are over 200 issues which are known to positively benefit from the use of hypnosis. Perhaps most incredibly, the majority of issues can be cleared in six sessions or less!
Clients may be able to claim services if they have health and wellness or alternative health spending accounts within their health benefits package.
Did You Know?
A state of heightened suggestibility and alertness where the conscious mind is quieted and the subconscious is brought to the fore-front of thought. This allows for a better environment to affect change on a deeper level since the subconscious is typically where mental programming and belief systems are held.
It is much like a computer program. The subconscious holds the software which, during hypnosis, is reprogrammed allowing new and beneficial habits and beliefs to take their place
Everyone Can Be Hypnotized
All hypnosis is self hypnosis. Hypnosis is simply a state of very relaxed concentration. It is completely normal and natural and everyone cycles through it many times each day. If you are able to close your eyes and focus your attention, you too can be hypnotized.
It's Not Mind Control
You as the client must be willing to cooperate with the hypnotist in order for any change to take place. You can’t be made to do anything you don’t want to. You are always in control even when deeply hypnotized!
For all intents and purposes, it is like relaxing with your eyes closed but more profound, as your subconscious is much more active in this state. This allows suggestions to have a greater effect.
Many people don’t believe they were hypnotized during their first session. They typically say “I just had my eyes closed for ‘x’ amount of time and I didn’t feel/experience anything.” They have indeed gone into a trance and with repeated sessions and the profound changes that accompany them, they will soon realize that they are being hypnotized during each session.
During a session...
At the end of the session, you will awaken refreshed and energized as if you just had a great night’s sleep.
According to Psychotherapy Magazine, Volume 7, Number 1, as stated by Alfred A. Barrios, PhD, the success rate of hypnosis is as follows:
- Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions
- Behavior Therapy: 72% recovery after 22 sessions
- Hypnotherapy has a 93% recovery after 6 sessions
Julie reminded me of a forgotten trauma. It brought up emotions of the first time I had ever felt fear; I looked it in the eyes and faced it in a way that it can never return. The whole experience has overwhelmed me as what I can only call a life-altering event. Now I am more confident in all aspects of my life
